I have never been pregnant before but get a feeling in my stomach that feels like a baby kicking. I dnt knw will fertility medication help or what my chances are to have a succesful pregnancy i had mumps before and had them removed as a child does this affect my fertility also?

Answer
Hello Nicolene from Norway,

The arcuate uterus should not interfere with your getting pregnant.  The PCOS is a problem, however.  This is an ovarian dysfunction such that the ovary is not processing FSH/LH correctly and so ovulation does not occur.  This then leads to other hormonal imbalances.  This needs to be corrected, and in a woman trying for pregnancy, the proper treatment is with fertility medications to coerce the ovary into ovulating.  We call this an ovulation induction cycle.  I would recommend that you look at my blog where I have lots of information regarding PCO and its proper management.  Hopefully, if there are no other problems, getting you to ovulate with the fertility medications is all that you will need to get pregnant.

Good Luck,
