Post-Ovulation Symptoms: Back & Leg Pain with Unusual Mucus - Doctor Answer

Hi doctor
Me and my husband had a contact a day before follicle rupture and on the day of follicle rupture.Its one week gone now and from past two days am having severe back pain and  leg pain with thick ,rubbery,creamy mucus flow.I never had such a flow of mucus any time before.Is there anything wrong ?.Am taking susten 200 as well.Is it because of that tablet all this is happening?I had my last periods on 10th of jan,and my cycle is 40 days,so if in case am pregnant when should I do strip test? after 10th of this month or on 20th .

I'm afraid I can't answer all your questions.  There are many possible reasons for the discharge you describe and an examination would need to be done to figure that out.

In terms of when to do the pregnancy test, if you have 40 day periods then I would wait until 47 days.  If you period doesn't occur then do the test.
