Iam 38yrs old.
I have had 2 missed miscarriages in the last 2yrs both after the cardiac activity was seen.During first miscarriage cardiac activity was seen at 6weeks4days and during second miscarriage cardiac activity was seen at 8weeks 3days.Both the times karyotype of product of conception was normal.I am pregnant again and this time my doctor put me on predenisone tablet5mg twice a day from 6week2days.sir i would like to know for how long you advice predenisone tab for your patients.

Of course the amount of time is going to be specified by your doctor, but in my patients that have recurrent pregnancy loss, I have them take the medications until 12 weeks gestational age.

sir i would like to know how you discontinue with predenisone in
your patients with recurrent miscarriage.I have heard that before discontinuing the dose of predenisone is reduced.

Prednisone needs to be tapered down then stopped. It cannot be stopped all of a sudden. But this will depend on the dosage you are taking and for how long you take it. I don't stop the medication until 12 weeks gestational age in patients with recurrent pregnancy loss.
