I know I am not supposed to ask "symtom questions", but I was wandering if you could help.
I am 27 years old and have a child of 16 months.
For quite a while now I have been having bulging in my lower abdomen/intestine. It happens when I lie down. It feels like a baby moving inside and you can see it pop up move slightly and then dissappear again.
Recently in the last week I have been having the feeling of mild menstration cramps.
I also have been having lots of mucus like discharge from the vagina. I know it often happens when you have a coil fitted, but i seem to be getting more and more.
Could any of this be related?

AnswerHi Caroline,
This is a little difficult without the benefit of a face to face exam. Are you sure that this isn't just gas or stool moving through your colon? If you have had a coil inserted and the discharge is worse, I'd ask the doctor who put it in to have a look at you to be sure that there is no infection.
