Benicar & Lipitor Side Effects: Dizziness, Tinnitus & Dry Skin - Expert Advice

Dear Dr. Borucki,
My husband (42 years old) has been taking Benicar and Lipitor for approximately 2 months. He is still feeling some dizziness and has tinnitus. Also his scalp and skin have become extremely dry. Is this normal after this amount of time?
His doctor had asked him to make a follow-up appointment in May but I am concerned that he migth need to do this sooner. What do you think?Thanks you for your help.

he should have multiple BP checks which can be done several ways.... at a doctors, pharmacy or home cuff.  I guess he has had a full evaluation including kidney function after starting the Benicar and thyroid tests, and a CBC.  These are great meds, but have to make sure they are right for him and the right dose.  I agree... get checked sooner.
