QuestionI have had a pain with my ribcage ever since a lithotripsy treatment over a year ago. I was given 2 cortizone injections on Dec.5. On Dec.27 another DR. noticed two dibbets in my back.. I am recieving conflicting info. Can Cortizone injections cause this? If so why?
I have had cortzone injections before and never had dibbets as a result.
AnswerI am not sure what a dibbet is, if you mean divot, then yes, sometimes cortisone can cause a little fat necrosis (dying off) and this will cause a little dimple. I don't see how that could be related to the kidney stone/lithotr though. Hope this helps...
