Managing Coronary Artery Disease Post-MI: Can It Be Reversed?

Question
Does your experience suggest that this condition can be arrested by aggressively addressing the risk factors?  Or is it just a matter of time before it causes trouble again?  I understand that there are some really hard cases. I'm wondering about those who are otherwise healthy and symptom free for at least a  few years after the MI.  Thank you for your generous help.

Answer
yes, absolutely, this disease can not only be arrested, but it can be reversed... that takes aggressive treatment of risk factors... stopping cigs, lowering ldl cholesterol to under 70, BP, etc.... but there are cases that clearly show regression of disease.  If you look at the overall stats... the diseases progress, but, that is "everyone" people who are non-compliant with lifestyle mods... diet, cigs and don't take maximum bp meds, chol lowering meds
