Ortho Micronor and Blood Clot History: Is It Safe?

My doctor has prescribed ortho Micrnor for Birth control. I hvae a concern if this will be a choice for me. I was on birth control before and was talen off because of a blood clot. I aske my doctoer and she said that miconor doesnt have estrogen in it which cause the blood clot. would it be safe for me to use the Ortho Microor since i do have a history of blood clots

theres so many birth control pills out there today. alot more now,then when i was on them in the 80's;

well this is one of the birth control pills which it doesnt say clots are side effects.
i am sure your doctor will be watching you very closely.

i guess the only way to really know,is if you try it for at least 3 months.
