-----Question-----
I have had an earache sence 12-2-06. My Dr.put me on antibiotics(850mg penicillian). Here it is 1-12-07 and I am still hurting and now I have white blisters under my tongue and it is sore.
-----Answer-----
blisters under the tongue usually are from viral illnesses, which means there is no treatment... the body gets rid of it on it's own.... it may take 10-14 days, but it will go away...
Answera lot of times, when you have the viral infection in the mouth, there is inflammation in the back of the throat where the connection exists to the ear, but if your ear is still hurting for a month, you may have a separate problem... ie, ear infection and you should have it looked at, as you may need antibiotics for that.... try some sudafed or afrin nasal spray in the meantime, while you are trying to get to the doctor.....
