Understanding Foreskin Development and Changes in Adolescence
Questionhi,
iam 14 and so thought it best to talk to a pediatrition instead of a urology doctor, basicaly i was wondering how long a male foreskin of my age should be ? the thing is, it used to cover my entire "glans" and now it barely covers half, i feel very self consciouse about this issue....is there somthing i can do ? is this common and will it correct itself in time ? any ideas why its like this ?
Answerwhat is prob happening is your penis is enlarging but the foreskin is not.... you can't have the foreskin enlarged..... the reason we do circumcisions in the first place is so that stuff doesn't get trapped in that area.... there isn't much to be done except to shorten the foreskin even more so it doesn't cover the head at all....... but typically, most people who have been circumcised have their foreskin back enough where it doesn't cover the head at all....
