Whole Grains & Weight Loss: What to Eat (and Avoid)

Rye, millet, whole grains wheat..should I avoid them if am on weight loss diet? are they beneficial to good heath besides they are good fibers?

Answer
no... all of those are important for a healthy diet. Stay away from sugars and processed foods that contain white flour, enriched, bleaced or unbleached flour. Eat more whole grain and 100%whole wheat bread/pasta. Skip white potatoes and head for the sweet potatoes. Look into glycemic indexes of foods (those are foods that cause insulin levels to soar and put those sugars into fat stores.)
