Secondary Amenorrhea After Ovarian Cyst Surgery: Causes & Recovery

please i use to have irregular periods and when i went to my Doctor he said it was a right ovarian cyst and that it was big enough to be removed through surgeery, which was done. but since after the surgery i have not had period and am married and can't wait to have my own babies. please help me out and give me an advice or suggestions. thank you.

    Depending on how long it has been since your surgery...you will have another period. But since you were irregular to begin with and ovaries switch back and forth monthly for your period...it may take awhile for your body to re adjust.
    Sometimes, and I know this from past surgeries, your body and the hormones are somewhat shocked and need to get regular again.
    I wouldn't worry about your period not showing...it will!!! And once you get started back on track, you can start trying to get pregnant!
