Predicting Your Due Date: Factors Influencing When You’ll Deliver

My first child was 19 days early.  I am currently pregnant with my 2nd-17 years later.  My due date is Aug 6th.  On July 12th I was 80% efaced.  When do you think I will deliver

Your guess is as good as mine.   There's no way to tell as this point.  Babies come when they're ready.  Your body tends to do what it did before but since there's such a large span between the pregnancies, the correlation could be weaker.


Although you're already effaced, this still doesn't predict when labor will begin.  It could be today or 2 weeks after your due date.


Let the baby come when it's ready - there's nothing to gain by stressing yourself over when labor will begin.
