Pregnancy Timeline & Possible Father - Seeking Information

Question
I am confused due to conception calculators changing the conception date b/c of cycle length (which I do not know). My LMP was 8/26. I had unprotected sex several times with guy1 between 8/30 & 9/5, including once while on my period. I had very careful protected sex with guy2 9/11. I learned of my pregnancy 9/24 at the ER. My 1st ultrasound 10/16 read 7weeks3days if I'm not mistaken. I know I will get a paternity test but for now I need a few more answers ( for peace of mind ).

1. With most conception calcs using the 28 day cycle length it says conception should have been 9/9 I've seen a few others say 9/10 & one even 9/11. Which day is most accurate.?

Could guy2 be the father if we were intimate the day of conception.? Or that close to it

Answer
Pregnancy calculators change the conception date based on cycle length because women tend to ovulate and conceive about 14 days before the beginning of their next cycle.  If you have a 28 day cycle, you would most likely ovulate around day 14 but if you have a 35 day cycle, you would most likely ovulate around day 21.

So, without knowing your individual cycle length, it becomes very difficult to determine when you as an individual are most likely to ovulate and conceive. However, early ultrasound between 8-10 weeks is the most accurate time to have an ultrasound and is typically accurate to within 1 day, or at most 3 days off in either direction.

Based on your Oct. 16 ultrasound, if you were 7 weeks, 3 days at the time, you would most likely have conceived around Sept. 8th.

However, since an ultrasound at that stage can be off as much as 3 days, there is a slim chance that man #2 could be the father, as conception can occur on the day of ovulation.

If I had to put money on it, though, I'd go with man #1.
