Radiotherapy and Travel: Timing & Considerations

Dear Mr. Nordquist,
I had a 15mm tumour in my right breast which was removed recently. I have been prescribed 3-4 weeks of radiotherapy due to start in a week or two. I need to travel to India for important personal reasons for a week. Would you recommend I travel before or immediately after the treatment as I have had mixed opinion from here?

I think that you should give top priority to your treatment so do not delay it by any travel. On the other hand I can not guarantee that you will be fit for travel once your treatment is over. Unfortunately it is impossible to give you a better answer than that!
