Spotting Between Periods: Ortho-Try-Cyclen & Alternatives - Expert Advice

I have a question about Ortho-Try-cyclen. You see, I have some spotting between my periods, and I was wondering if a doctor would put me a low dose of Ortho Try-cyclen to help me stop spotting. I have a friend who had spotting between periods, and her doctor put her on the pill, and she said it helped. Is she right?

Spotting between your periods when you are not on the pill is normal.  Taking the pill to avoid the spotting is playing with fire.  The pill is a steroid chemical that changes your natural fertility into something that you can't predict or understand.  I would never take such a drug for a normal condition.  The period you have on the pill is not a normal period, if there is something wrong you won't know it until it's too late.
