Condom Breakage & Emergency Contraception: What to Do?

last night i had sex with my boyfriend and the condom broke.  We felt it and he immediately pulled out and put on a new condom.  He didn't ejaculate so i thought everything would be fine but now he's concerned and wants me to take the morning after pill just to be on the safe side, but after reading about the pill I'm not so sure i like the side effects of it.  I'm on birth control but it only works some what because my acne medication cancels out some of the effectiveness.  are we ok or should i reconsider taking the morning after pill?  AS i said before he didn't ejaculate in the broken condom so shouldn't we be ok?

Sorry I was delayed on answering your question. I would not recommend the morning after pill, even though I am not a medical professional, I have read a lot about it.
