Birth Control and Weight Changes: What You Need to Know

Does Nor-qd birth control pills cause you to gain weight?  I just had a baby 6
weeks ago and have recently started to take my pills.  I am overweight and I
would like to avoid anything that will add on extra pounds?  If they do cause me
to gain weight what are some other options for birth control.  I want to wait at
least 3 years before having more children.

I wouldn't recommend this because I read how it works. It works somewhat like an abortion because it makes your lining so that the embryo cannot attach. I don't specifically see the weight gain risk but most pills do have that risk. Natural Family Planning is the method I would recommend but it does have some risk of pregnancy.
