QuestionI just read an answer to a question about grapefruit diet affecting birth control that had me quite concerned. I have been eating grapefruit but I am on the Nuva Ring birth control, will the grapefruit interfere with this type of birth control, or is it just the pill? My husband and I are not going to stop having sex because of some fruit, but we are not ready for a bundle of joy either.

I could not find any information about the Nuva ring and grapefruit. You might want to ask your physician about this.
I don't recommend the Nuva Ring or any kind of hormonal birth control because of risks and dangers to a woman's body. I usually recommend non-hormonal methods. Also, it is possible to get pregnant using the Nuva ring because no birth control method is 100% effective in preventing pregnancy.
