Emergency Contraception & Cycle Changes: Understanding Post-Pill Effects

Question
Hello,
I am Carol, a very much confused woman trying to fogure out what has emergency contraception pills did to my cycle!
On the 14 of November I had unprotected sex and immediately took emergency contracception pill, until now its been over 6 weeks aand my blood tests show that I am not pregnant!
On the 28th of november I had a reduced bleeding for 3 days! May I tell you that for the past 2 months I took 5 emergency pills and each time my period came earlier and much reduced!
This past friday, the 23 december, me and my bf had some dry humpping experience with his boxers on and he came once while rubbing himself, the rest of the times he came away from me!
The thing is I was supposed to get my period the exact day after that incident, saturday, or by today but until now nothing!!
Could this dry humpping thing made me pregnant?? I don't know what to think
If I wasn't pregnant from my first intercourse what are the chances I'm ovulating on the 27th day of my cycle!!!! :S

Answer
Hello Carol,
The thing is, emergency contraception can screw up your period, make it early or late, and affect whether you ovulate or not.  If you want regular periods, my recommendation is to avoid emergency contraception.  Since you've been using emergency contraception, there is no way to know when you might be ovulating.  If you needed emergency contraception 5 times in the past 2 months, that means you need to find another good method of contraception.  I'm pretty sure you're not pregnant.
