Emergency Contraception: What to Do After Unprotected Sex

I am taking yasminelle, but generally end up taking it at different times each day. two days ago I had unprotected sex and though the guy didn't finish, I am still worried about pregnancy. There is no way for me to access emergency contraception until Monday when it is too late. should I take an extra dose of my regular birth control pill just to be safe, or am I overreacting?

Amanda, Sorry, I did not get your question until today. I don't know how taking an extra dose of your birth control pill would have helped. I do think you may be overreacting. You don't really know if you are pregnant and taking extra hormones might not be healthy for your body.
