Birth Control & Period Irregularities: What to Expect
Questioni did not start my birth control on my period , i have been on it for 5 days and should have my period by now and i don't ? and is it not effective because i didnt start it on my period ? when does it fall into effect ? iam also 17 . thank you
AnswerAshley,
I'm sorry but I was delayed on getting your question. So what ended up happening? Did you have your period? Please email me at CHERYL51@aol.com and let me know any updates. It does take a while to get birth control pills started. I don't recommend birth control pills or any kind of hormonal birth control methods. The reason is because of health concerns. The hormones may make your period abnormal and also cause other side effects. So write and we can talk more. Is it necessary for you to be on birth control at this time of your life?
Sincerely,
Diane Cheryl
