AnswerHello, trina,
Here is a page that talks about methotrexate. It's powerful medicine. There are so many potential problems that I recommend finding a more natural treatment for RA.

It is unethical for any doctor to do anything to help a woman have an abortion. This is because of the harm it causes the mother, let alone the baby. Generally speaking, it looks like it would be a good idea to take a folic acid supplement with it anyway.
I can't prescribe a dose for you. I am not a doctor, and that would be practicing medicine without a license.
I also won't help a woman hurt herself.
Are you concerned about your baby having a birth defect? Or is there some other reason why you want an abortion? If you are having other problems, I can probably help you find a decent solution, one you can live with. But I urge you to think seriously about this because of the harm it will cause you, both medically and emotionally. If your doctor truly believes in your right to be safe, he won't help you figure out what dose, either. He will take you off methotrexate and prescribe some vitamins and other things that will help protect your baby. If your doctor is willing to help you have an abortion, he doesn't have good medical judgment. I can speak from experience on that.
If you are willing to protect yourself, I will point you to some other remedies for RA that won't hurt you like methotrexate can. Let me know. Please take care of yourself and stay safe. Let me know how you do.
