You will need to watch closely, because you could start bleeding again. Bleeding can be very serious, and women in India are bleeding to death after abortion. Dark brown color is old blood. It's not worrisome. I can't tell you if you have an infection or not; only a doctor can do that. He will need to examine you and run tests. Did you put any pills in your vagina? If so, have the doctor test you for Clostridium sordellii. You may be past the danger point, but Clostridium sordellii can cause such a serious infection it can kill a woman within hours.
If you start bleeding again, you may also need medical care. In the meantime, the best thing you can do is make sure you get plenty of red hot peppers in your food, or take cayenne. Do this on a regular basis until you know you have completely stopped bleeding.
