Emotional Blockages & Back Pain: Exploring Body Mapping for Massage

I have received a back massage whilst overseas which specifically dealt with emotions being stored in certain areas of the human back.  I have a keen interest in understanding this more, but can not find any maps/diagrams the show what regions of the back relate to what emotions.  Do you know if there are studies on this, and if there are any body maps of the emotional areas for massage?
