Materials:
* Cotton balls or pads
* Acetone-based nail polish remover (You can use non-acetone, but it takes longer.)
* A bowl (optional)
Instructions:
1. Pour some nail polish remover into the bowl (optional). This makes it easier to saturate the cotton balls.
2. Saturate a cotton ball with nail polish remover.
3. Hold the cotton ball on each nail for a few seconds. This helps to soften the polish.
4. Gently swipe the cotton ball across the nail. The polish should come off easily.
5. Repeat steps 3 and 4 until all the polish is removed.
6. Clean your nails with a clean cotton ball and some nail polish remover. This will remove any remaining polish residue.
Tips:
* For stubborn polish: If the polish is very thick or dark, soak a cotton ball in remover and wrap it around your nail for a few minutes before wiping.
* Protect your skin: Acetone can dry out your skin. Apply some lotion to your hands and cuticles after removing polish.
Important Note: While acetone is effective for removing nail polish, it can be harsh on your nails. Try to use it sparingly and always apply a good base coat and top coat to protect your nails.
