QuestionHi Elaine! As you may know, many retailers around the US are not carrying MAX Factor brand cosmetics. I am a huge fan of their 2000 Calorie Mascara, and I am down to my last tube. Do you know of any other drugstore brand mascaras that are very similar? I've heard good things about Cover Girl's Lashblast, but I'm afraid it won't do the same voluminizing/lengthening/separating that the 2000 Calorie does. Thanks for your help!

Max Factor has a wonderful reputation and it is sad when your favorite makeup item is discontinued.
I am not too sure about the Cover Girl's Lashblast but I am familiar with the following mascara's:
- Imju's Fiberwig (when applied it makes lashes look like they you are wearing false eyelashes) :) this product can be found at Sephora
- MAC's Pro Long lash which can be found in MAC stores.. one of my absolute favorites -
any MAC product is ultimately the best - I find MAC products extremely quality and worth every penny.
- L'Oreal's Telescopic Explosion is another one I have in my makeup case (this one I suggest if you are tight on money )
Also, add kale to your salads - kale will brighten up the whites of your eyes and your mascara will look even more amazing against white bright eyes.
Kale is a bit bitter but add some salad dressing and you won't taste the bitterness :)
