UK Skincare Import: Licenses, Safety & Tax for Distributors

Question
Hi I am looking to become a distributor of a particular skincare range, the product is not currently available in UK, but I want to introduce it as I have tested the product myself. Please can you advise what licences I need, how can I ensure the product is safe for eu distribution even though it has been demelogocally tested in the country of origin, has leaflets stating ingredients and how to use the product. Also where can I get information about the tax duty I would be liable to pay for importing the products.

www.globalregulatory.com is a site I recommend where you can obtain answers to all your questions.  I have not developed products for distribution in the UK, so I really don't have these answers for you.  However, you will be able to obtain them through this website.
