Hairspray for 3D Printing: Types, Ozone Safety & Cost-Effective Options

Question
I was wondering if there is any main differences between the best and worst types of hairspray? In particular only the ones that don't destroy the o-zone. I am looking for cheap variety. Not for hair however. I have a 3D model printer and have been told that hairspray can be used to make the first layer of a project stick to the platform better. So I assume I want something with normal amounts of sticky, but also I was just curious the differences between the best and worst other than price.

Answer
James,
Unfortunately I know nothing about 3D printing, so cannot advise specifically. If you are concerned about ozone, then a non aerosol would be your choice, as some propellants are the culprit there. If you want stickiness then a firm hold, non aerosol. Any otc brand fitting these criteria should work for your purpose.
Best of luck to you.
