QuestionHey there! I'm tired of pulling hairs out and cutting them every other day to hide my first 7-8 white hairs, which unfortunately are all at my temples. However, when I do pony tails, daily, they are looking at me and stressing me out and making me get more!! Do you have any styling tips on how to hide them first of all? I realy didn't want to have to start coloring (30 years old now) yet, just because I know that it's a monthly commitment with roots and stuff.
Also, if I do go the color route, what type of coloring style would you recommend me to disucss with beautician, I have dark almost black hair. Highlights in that area? Or natural color? I just would like to do something that would help those roots blend in and not stick out within two weeks, because my hair growth rate is fast!! I want something that gives me AT LEAST a month's worth of peace for both my mind and my wallet!!
Also, do beauty salons use hair dyes that don't contain the PPD? I would just prefer to avoid that! Thanks
Answerfor a few grays, i suggest hair mascara, which is totally temporary and easy to apply.stop pulling and cutting the hairs and let them get long enough to blend into the overall look instead of poking out from being short.
as you get to the point of wanting to color, you can discuss a demi permanent color that has low peroxide and low ammonia that will cover the gray without altering your natural color so much. you would need to do a patch test to see if you are sensitive to the ingredients beforehand, and if you are hesitant about ppd,ask the colorist if there are options for you.
