Light Blonde Hair Gone Brassy? How to Achieve a Natural, Richer Tone

Question
When I was younger, I had naturally very light blonde hair (not white-blonde, more light golden) and this faded to a darker dirty blonde with a hint of red (only a hint). I've been getting it highlighted for a few years now, and then a couple of months ago I dyed it myself to a light blonde using Perfect 10.

I don't think this suits me, and my hair is no longer as shiny as it was before. How do I fix this- I mean, how do I get it to be slightly darker again, and wil I need a hairdresser? (bear in mind I'm short of money, I'm only 17)

Answer
I would suggest you redye your hair, the brand i personally adore is Revlon Colorsilk. I personally had the same experience, i used Revlon in a darker shade. Revlon has a great coverage over previously/recently dyed hair.
Sorry if this doesnt really have specific details. Ask a follow up question, for surely that answer would be so much very specific.
