Black Lowlights for Platinum Blonde Hair: Achieving Contrast & Dimension

Question

hair
I had my hairdresser put platinum white streaks into my virgin black Asian hair but he put a bit too much in the bangs and now it lacks the contrast to make it look really cool. I attached a picture and I would like to dye the brassy/brown parts black and a bit more to make it roughly 50/50 between black and white.

I want to
- add black lowlights to my hair to give it that contrast. I would like to know how to do foils on bangs approx 1 1/2 - 2 inches long in a faux hawk.
- learn how to put black lowlights in that will not stain the white hair; how do I shampoo it (separately?).

I know a little about hair color but not a lot so it would be really helpful if you could provide specific step-by-step instructions on how to do this.

ANY help would be appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Answer
Sorry for the delay.
Hello, so foiling a faux hawk is pretty simple. Cut foil into rectangles/sections 2x your bang length. You should starting parting from the area closest to your forehead (making small short strips) and not starting from the side of your head (making long thin strips). Just wrap the section from front to back (so that the foil section covers front and back).
Shampooing is really easy, too. So you would foil or saran wrap away the white part then just shampoo as usual. Then just take out and dry your hair.

Hope this helped!
