I jokingly said this year that I had two Valentines; one of them being Zack and my second being New York. It’s hard not to get all the feelings EVERY TIME I am in the city, and then on top of it right by Valentines and NYFW- Zack had to compete a little for my heart this year 😉
Fashion Week is one of my favorite times of year and this February I hit the town with two of my gals; Amber from Every Once In A Style and Carolina from Chic Talk. We squeezed all our bags into the cutest little room at The Fredrick Hotel, bundled up, caffeinated up, and worked our little booties off to share as much as we could of NYFW.
So, Darlings…here it goes!

I am going to start off with all my outfit details, the theme and strategy for packing for this February was COMFORT and LAYERS! We jokingly said we were gunna be wearing giant blanket scarves like Lenny Kravitz all week, haha! But no joke the cold in NYC is the real deal so I wanted to look chic but I didn’t want to freeze to death either.
Basically, this is my attempt at packing for WINTER CHIC VIBES FOR NYFW:

When I posted on Instagram wearing this lacey top the biggest question I got was what was wearing under! I decided to pair mine with a barrette that was rust colored from Free People too! It think it would look great with a cami as well!!

Honestly, favorite new item that I purchased for this trip was THESE JEANS! I am wearing a size 26 and I am obsessed SUCH A FLATTERING PAIR OF MOM JEANS! haha.

This was my rainy day look- cue my little hat! haha. And these white booties were SO flipping comfy!! Which is KEY in NYC.

Parisian vibes are my favorite vibes…insert croissant emoji here because thats what this outfit reminds me of!

This jumpsuit is gunna be all over my Spring wardrobe…just a warning! haha

We were so extremely blessed to attend shows, meet with the most inspiring people, do store visits, and eat our way thru NYC! So I feel like I gotta do a quick list of my favorite photo spots, coffee shops, restaurants, and stores!

I know I chatted about this briefly in my post last year, but NYFW is full of so much excitement and it ends up being such an emotional experience for me. There are lots of highs and lows- so many moments that I felt SO thankful for my job as a blogger and so many times that I also felt anxious and was overwhelmed with the talent that is in the city and wondering where I fit into all of it.
I for sure had to talk myself out of a few dark moments that I just felt overwhelmed or maybe a little sad. But I wouldn’t trade it for a second- because those are the moments that turn into DRIVE and Inspiration!!

Cheers, Darlings!
