Haircutting Techniques: Cutting Against the Grain - Best Practices

hi i have problems with cutting hair when cutting the top of the head should you cut against the grain or not when i cut against it it seems to stick up even tho its very low i dont hav this problems with with the sides whitch lay down perfect thnaks

This is normal to happen I find cutting against the grain is easier but if they ask I cut with the grain. What you need to do is go over it again when your done and brush it down then go over it with the next guard or blade down with the grain this will lay the hair down perfect! Hope this helps!
