Start by moisturizing the delicate eye area to prepare the skin for the eye makeup. Pick an eye cream and dot it under your eye area and softly pat it into the skin. Then, take a concealer with your fingers or a flat concealer brush to conceal your dark circles. If you have a deep pigmentation under your eyes, it is best to use a corrector prior to the application of the concealer. Then, use a loose compact powder and set your concealer to prevent smudging or creasing of the products applied earlier.
Take a matte medium reddish brown eyeshadow and start applying it to the crease area of the eyes. This color will add dimension and give an illusion of deeper set eyes. Here, I have used a matte reddish brown eyeshadow from the Elf 144 eyeshadow palette to get the desired result.
Then take a soft plum eyeshadow in matte finish and start applying it to the crease area of the eyes. Adding further depth, this color will create an illusion of deeper set eyes. I have used a matte plum eyeshadow from the Elf 144 eyeshadow palette for this step.
Pick a matte purple pink eyeshadow and apply it to the outermost corner and outer v area of your eyes. Here, I have used a matte purple-like pink eyeshadow from the Elf 144 eyeshadow palette. Use a fluffy blending eyeshadow brush for this step as it will help in diffusing the eyeshadow color better into the outer v area of the eyes. Then, take a soft, creamy purple eye pencil to apply it all over your eyelid area. In this step apply the eyeshadow on top of it, to make it appear brighter and pop out. I used the Maybelline purple color eye pencil.
Then, pick a bright purple eyeshadow in matte or satin finish and apply it on your eyelid area. This eyeshadow is to be placed just above the purple eye pencil applied in the previous step. Start by blending the eye pencil with your fingers or a flat eyeshadow brush to get an even base for the eyeshadow, and then top the bright purple eyeshadow over it. Here, I have used a bright purple eyeshadow from the Elf 144 eyeshadow palette. Then, I picked up a hot pink eyeshadow and applied it only to the outer v of the eyes. Here, I used the Lakme eyeshadow duo in pink wink for the hot pink eyeshadow.
Then, take a fluffy blending brush and blend all the eyeshadows applied for a seamless finish. It is important for the different eyeshadows, such as the purples and pinks to blend and look smokey. So, imitating a wind shield motion, softly remove all the harsh edges in the eye makeup. Then, apply the same bright purple eyeshadow to your lower lash line thickly to create a balance in the eye makeup. Apply a soft shimmery white eyeshadow to the innermost corner of the eyes to highlight the eye makeup. Here, I have used a white eyeshadow from the Elf 144 eyeshadow palette. Then, apply a soft cream eyeshadow to the brow bone area of your eyes. Here, I used the Revlon shadow links eyeshadow in the shade sand.
Then, apply a black kajal to the water line and tight line of your eyes. Apply mascara to complete the eye makeup look. Here, I used the Kryolan eye liner and Loreal Million Lashes mascara for this step.
That’s it! Five easy steps and you are as good as a diva! Nothing over the top, just the right use of colors and you are ready for the show! Step out in style!
