QuestionGreetings:
I was wondering if there's any oil that good for stir frying health-wise?
Seems like any time I go to the grocers, I only see 20-22% fat content oils. I crave stir fried veggies like biserk the last couple days. I stir fried for the first time a couple days ago using bell peppers, onions, and tomatoes.
I know all that oil is no good for me, and only a teaspoon or two is a serving amount nutrition fact wise.
Thanks a bunch,
Teenianne
P.S. I live in America
AnswerHello Teenianne!
Thank you for your nutrition question. Healthwise, the best oils to stir fry with would be olive or peanut oil because they are "good" fats. They are able to help to eliminate the "bad" fat from your blood and lower your bad cholesterol levels. Why not try a little olive oil on your stir fry vegetables? Hope this helps.
