Can you freeze whole raw potatoes?  Can you freeze uncooked brown rice?

Freezing whole raw potatoes is not a good way to preserve them... they won't thaw back to an edible form!
You can prepare them and then freeze them.

I'm not sure why you would want to freeze raw rice? It will be fine to use for at least 6 months when stored in an airtight container!
