Understanding Digestive Issues: Causes & Potential Solutions

Question
I'm not sure if I'm in the right place to be asking this, and if I'm not, please direct me to where I should ask. I'm 18 years old, 120 Ibs, and I'm a pretty tiny and thin girl who gets full easily whenever I eat. And for some reason, sometimes I tend to throw up after I eat; I don't do it on purpose and it's not that I'm really sick, but it just happens. I don't know if it's because I eat too much or what it could be, but it bothers me that there are random times where I can't seem to keep down my food. What could be the cause of this?

Answer
Hello,

I think the possible reasons can be related to either medical conditions concerning your stomach or you might have some kind of food allergy. If you have acsess to a gastroenterologist or can do allergy tests, you better do that.

Otherwise, try eating small portions 6 times a day and see what happens. Pay attention and write down in a journal what you ate when you couldn't keep the food inside and avoid these foods. If needed, eat only one food at a time, this way, you will clearly see if there's a food or foods you react to.

If you start a journal, add one more useful thing there, especially if you try the 6 meals a day plan: your fullness after such meals and how hungry you were before the meal. Read here how to do that:

Don't hesitate asking me further questions. I'd be happy to have your feedback.
