OHIP Coverage for MGB Revision in the USA: What You Need to Know

I was just wondering about OHIP coverage...I have already had the MGB in Bay City Michigan in July 2005 before the OHIP approval issue.  I have lost 60lbs but have gained 25 back.  My health issues are gone but the weight is still here.  I am aware that I can have a revision done.  My question is will OHIP cover it again for me in the States?

Answer
Not likely.  Referrals to the USA are all but done yet except for some odd cases.  You'd have to contact an Ontario Bariatric Assessment centre however to see what they would say. You'd have to bring up what your current state of things are but to be honest, they are not big on revisions.
