Identifying Your Art Nouveau Bergamot Belt Buckle: Maker & History

I have what I feel is an art nouveau belt buckle.  I have found on ebay an emblem on a similar buckle that they were told is for Bergamot.  There is also another mark that is of the side view of a man and reads Napoleon Emporer.  Any idea on the true maker?

Hello Lisa and thank you for your inquiry. Your buckle is probably manufacturered by Bergamot. These are historical and thematic buckles done in beautiful enamels and usually on pewter. Some of them are quite collectible. Here is a web site that may give you more information:
