How to identify natural topaz by 10x loupe?

Hi Joy,

Sorry for not answering your other questions.  Your questions belong in a class room.  Mostly what I talk about are about cutting gemstones.  I do not believe you can identify topaz by a loupe.
However if you have cut a lot of these from the rough crystals they can be ID on sight by the color, and type of crystal.  But to truely know for sure you should do a refractive index reading.
