Custom Necklace Design: Materials, Colors & Budget Guide

i need a necklace with the design i choose material i choose and the colors i choose, the problem is i know zip zero bout any of it. i like the look of platinum and sterling silver, but is it possible to make the colors look like they are in the material, can you add colors to them? dont know if this matters, but i dont really know if what i want is an expensive trinket or a kinda cheap jewlery.where is the line between the two?

Hello; a great day to you. Thee is not much you can do to the colors of the metals you mention within reasonable costs. Unless you are talking about enamels or resins which can be like painting on the metal Somewhere in the process, you have to make up your mind of what you want, cheap or expensive, which means you have to put more thought into it because it will last longer.
There are lots of jewelers who can make your design for you. My advise is; once you figure it out shop around to several and get price comparisons.
