QuestionI found another question about bridal diapers here. I was wondering where you can find the cover many of the girls are talking about on the different message boards. Any help would be great Thanks!
AnswerDear Jen,
Many brides are worried about going to the bathroom in their bridal gowns, particularly if they are wearing a voluminous ball gown or tight fitting mermaid. While going to the bathroom may take more thought than usual on your big day, wearing adult diapers is usually not necessary.
First, ALWAYS go to the bathroom right before putting on your gown. You might not have to go again until after the wedding, eliminating the problem all together.
If the skirt of your gown is very large, enlist the help of your maid of honor. Have her hold the back of the dress up while you walk backwards toward the toilet seat. If your dress is very tight fitting, you may be better off by simply removing it before going to the bathroom.
If you are still worried about it and insist on wearing a diaper, a body shaper (like Spanx or Assets, to name two) is your best option. Adult diapers are bulky and can easily be seen through clothes. A body shaper will smooth out any bumps so people don't know you are wearing them. Keep in mind even this will not work with a very thin, slinky fabric like a chiffon. Nothing will prevent your guests from seeing a diaper through charmeuse, and nothing will mar your look quicker than people knowing you are wearing a diaper.
