Understanding Hormonal Changes in Teen Girls: A Comprehensive Guide

Question
I'm not sure if you can answer my question but it would be great if you could. I'm 13 years old and I've had my period for about a year. I am still not even a A cup. I have lots of hair on my lip, my eyebrows grow very fast, my stomach is hairy, my chest and my back. I've had pubic hair since I was about 6 years old. I have extremely oily hair and skin, lots of acne and I cannot fall asleep and stay asleep. I'm constantly tired and have no energy. My mood changes a lot. My period doesn't follow any certain pattern. It's usually brownishh and heavier than I think it is supposed to be at my age. I also have armpit stench no matter what deoderant I use and no matter how much I shower or put it on. I suffer from urinary track infections quite often as well.  I'm just concerned I might have some  hormonal imbalance.  Help? D; thanks.

Answer
Dear Tori,

Thank you for writing me keeping in mind I am not a doctor but by what you are telling me I would strongly urge you to try and get your parents to take you to see a doctor and tell them everything you have told me. Yes, it sounds like a hormone imbalance that in your case can be helped out for you are young so please do not delay any longer and go see a doctor about this.

God Bless
