Postpartum Fitness After Multiple Pregnancies: A Guide for Moms
QuestionI am a 31 yr. old mother of 4...(all under 9 yrs. old) and I am a petite woman weighing 122 pounds and measuring 5'2 in height. I actually look great, better than most teens these days...but it is my tummy I am not happy with. It isn't that big...but after being very stretched out with 2 of my 4 babies being big (my 3rd weighed 9 pounds at birth)...because my husband is a 6'2 man weighing about 190 pounds...I just had big babies growing in my tiny body. Even my dr. said he couldn't believe I gave birth to a 9 pound baby! So now my tummy is very loose skin...and very squishy...with lot of wrinkles around my belly button. Much different that the body I had before kids! (I was 104 pounds when I got pregnant for my first at the age of 21 yrs...and I went right back down to 110 pounds after he was born.
What do I need to do to fix my tummy? I know crunches are supposed to be good for the tummy muscles...but what about the loose/squishy skin?
Anything you can tell me, would be helpful.
Sincerely~
Cheri
AnswerCrunches are good! Have you heard of the windmill? You stand with your hands out and your legs out, then take your left arm to your right leg, then stand up, then take your right arm to your left leg, stand up, and so on. This will help tone your side muscles some.
I suggest visiting www.deniseaustin.com She is great for target areas.
Good luck toyou.
