Spray Tanning During Pregnancy: Is It Safe?

Hi! I am 27 years old, no previous children and I am 6 1/2 weeks pregnant. My question is am I aloud to spray tan? My doctor thinks it's okay but doesn't know a lot about it.

There is no harm to the pregnancy or to the fetus by using artificial sprays or lotions to produce a tan on your skin. HOwever, since the proteins of your body may have changed due to the pregnancy, you may not get the tan or color you want. Do so at your own risk.
