Pregnancy Nasal Congestion: Relief & Solutions During Pregnancy
QuestionI'm currently 21 weeks pregnant, and my nose has been congested since I found out I was pregnant at 4 weeks. The severity comes and goes, but I've tried the humidifier, breathe-right strips, vicks vaporub, saline spray, eucalpytus oil, anything I could think of. It works sometimes, but not always. Lately I've been getting 4-5 hours of sleep a night due to the congestion and the lack of sleep is starting to wear me down. I was using nasal sprays as they were the only thing keeping me uncongested, but I can't use them any longer or they will just worsen the problem. Is there anything I can take to relieve my congestion/runny nose so I can get a few nights of quality sleep?
AnswerDecongstants can be used during pregnancy and do help help with decongerstance. (Afrin and other nasal sprays). Sometimes you an get a "rebound" if you use them to much and willno be able to breath at all. Teh nasal spray wwill not harm the baby. You have done anything I can think of, already.
