MTHFR and Pregnancy: Prenatal Vitamin Recommendations After Miscarriage

I was told I had mthfr in august 2005 after my second mischarrige> . I had to take an aspirin once  day and a prenatal vitamin. It worked I got pregnant and I have a heathly 2 year old. Well now I am trying for a second child( its been 7 months of trying ) My question is do I need to be on the same prenatal vitamin as before?  I am taking the aspirin  Iam taking an over the counter prenantal.

Dear Kristy,

I would suggest the same prenatal vitamin as you were taking before - especially if it was a prescription vitamin. Not all prenatal vitamins are the same at all.
