Vitamin Support for Allergy Relief & Energy - A Personal Journey

Question
Hi, I hope you are doing well today.
I am 26 years old, live in Miami, and suffer pretty badly from allergies,...which I blame to be the cause of almost all my medical ailments. I seem to be tired all the time,...and seem to get sick a lot. I work part-time and attend school part-time,...so it's not like I am out 50-60 hours a week,...ya know? I have recently decided to explore the vitamin world in hope for a cure. I am currently taking Echinacea, Calcium, and a multi-vitamin. I was looking at Vitamin B, and was wondering if my Multi-vitamin covered B. Although Vitamin B isn't actually listed on the bottle, I noticed that a lot of components of B were listed,...such as Folic Acid, Thiamin, Riboflavin,...etc. Should I take an additional Vitamin B supplement? What are my options for increased energy? Does my current vitamin regime look okay? Am I missing anything? Oh, and as far as my allergies are concerned,...I am taking claritin at the moment, and have recently purchased an air purifier. I used to get allergy shots (which were great), but do not currently have insurance to cover the expense. I was reading the other day that purifiers are even more effective over shots...
Sorry to ramble,...thank you so much for your time!
Angie

Answer
Hi Angie,
Vitamins are a good idea regardless of other health issues. Vitamin B Complex is a more potent form of Vit B and is safe to take with multi's.
Have you been worked up for other causes of chronic illness and fatigue such as Epstein Barr Virus, Thyroid, Cytomegalic Virus, Lyme and Hepatitis as well as other connective tissue diseases like Lupus? How about an infesstation with a marine parasite? I ask because although allergies can cause these symptoms, they are vague enough to be caused by other things.
