Fetal Heartbeat Absence in Early Pregnancy: What to Do?

dear dr..plz reply me soon as the contractions of my sister in law have been increasing as she has no heartbeat of fetal pole in 8th week of pregnancy and gestational age is 6 weeks and size is 5.2 mm...what should we do?

Dear Nida,

The signs being presented by you looks like she is going to have a miscarriage. I suggest that you take her to the hospital where an Ultrasound scan can be done to check for presence of heart beat and the gestational sac patency. Sorry I can not help beyond this in a situation like this as it needs physical examination. God Bless.
